Numbers on a 100 chart

On a 100 chart, down one row is ten more. Up one row is ten less.

Learn it

  1. Rows of ten

    Each row has 10 numbers. The first row is 1 to 10. The second row is 11 to 20.

  2. Right and left

    Move right: one more. Move left: one less.

  3. Down and up

    Move down one row: ten more. Move up one row: ten less.

Step 2

Watch how

Two examples, worked out one step at a time.

  1. Start at 23. Go down one row.

    Down one row is 10 more. 23 + 10 = 33.

    Answer: 33
  2. Start at 67. Go up one row.

    Up one row is 10 less. 67 − 10 = 57.

    Answer: 57
